Fortunately, and we speak with many many years of RV travel in Mexico, things are repaired at a rate that is unknown north of the border.
We have seen bridges, roads, RV parks erased, literally, and reopened in a week or two. Why?? The need for the income, the need to keep things going and the need to keep life on an even keel.
We were one week behind the last major hurricane that hit just above Mazatlan-friends did it the day after. It was just fine, but the destruction we saw was mind boggling. The roads were made passable almost immediately, but what we saw.....
It's one of the many things we love about living here-fewer rules, survival instincts, friendliness and wanting others to enjoy their lives. Always share the wealth when appropriate. Take care of yourself.
