Tricare is for serving militRy, retired vets and their families. This program is not available for civilians. However we are fortunate to be coverd by Tricare for Life as retired vet. Any medical expenses incurred are paid for up front and reimbursed by Tricare. So far we have not had to use this so I can't report on it. But the information is available on line if I need to look it up,
