Yes Rob. My investigation has indicated that all travel insurance for Canadians assumes you leave your Care Card province. As you can see I am a bit paranoid about going bankrupt so I am going to fly back to BC. What I have not gotten is the time I have to remain there, and I think it is one of those questions they don't want to answer as it points out a beauracratic red tape glitch.
Medoc have refunded me which will cover my airfare and I love flying, in addition I can delay my arrival in Nova Scotia by another week. Yes I am going to transfer to NS Health Care with the 3 month waiting period and it is free there. Yes BC is the only province in Canada that charges for Provincial Health Care actually it is called " Dafodil Curtain Care".
