- Merry Christmas to everyone from the frozen wasteland of Southern Vancouver Island!
Actually the only snow we can see are on Mt. Baker over to the East and the Olympics to the South, both in the US! - No snow left in Kitimat..but that'll change. We're goin for a Christmas Day drive....see what's shakin in Terrace maybe.

Gary Haupt - Well It is green here in the West Kootenays of BC as well. There is only about 2 to 3 ft of snow on Kootenay Pass which is the highest mountain pass open in Canada year round. There is a bit more up the Valley were we snowmobile but not a heck of a lot more.
