I find the tier system fair here. If I am a pig on power.....I pay, si no? I pay very little. If you have extra fridges, electric dry your clothes and can't live with out the juice...no problem, you can pay for it. Sustainability is becoming a real problem in the consumer world. I say consume= pay. no consume no pay. It works here. It is different from where you are from but that doesnt make it wrong, just different. I have super low electric bills for my 2400 sq ft house in Mexico, but I am no large user either.
