Rving in Mexico is a very small niche market where many are ready to sell to developers. Even the "experts" who write books on the subject tell me the same thing.
We don't rely on rv parks and I doubt anyone in Mexico has gotten rich off of the concept of owning one either and that has come from the horse's mouth more than once. We had hoped at one time to open one but we realized from the get go it would be for fun and fellowship, not money.
As for American goods on the shelf, who needs them. I sure don't.
In terms of autodefensas, they were legalized for a reason. Their history goes back to the days of Lazaro Cardenas and the loss of jobs in the region after large haciendas were confiscated and Michoacaners headed to the U.S. All of this is nothing new.
