- Dr_JayExplorerTaken 41 many times. Perfectly able to handle big rigs.
- Bob_ShawExplorerPersonally, I think the scenery on I-75 through the everglades is pretty good, although there's not much to see. But less traffic on I-75, but, you do have the toll.
- agesilausExplorer IIIStop at Shark Valley (Everglades NP) if you have some time and take the tram ride. And watch your speed thru the Seminole Reservation they do have speed traps.
- BillMFlExplorerThat used to be the primary route before Alligator Alley (I75) opened. Scenery is pretty similar on both routes but easier to look at on a much more narrow road and at slower speeds. Once 41 turns northward past Golden Gate its a traffic nightmare all the way to Tampa.

If you a referring to alligators, keep an eye out day and night.
Their mating season begins in April and they move around a lot. The bulls are NOT in a good mood.
The trip across US 41 is much more scenic IMHO. - IvylogExplorer IIIIt's a US highway with plenty of big trucks using it that are taller than you and before you get to Naples you will be hoping to see some trees... it's through the Everglades.
Go to Google maps and turn on Sat view... you'll see what I mean. - Vet_ManExplorerWife counted over 100 on that rt.
- Wizard_1946ExplorerUsually lots of alligators in the ditches
