Migration south is well underway

Today on my way into Whitehorse, and return back home, I didn't see one RV heading north. Saw a handful heading south.

The leaves are still green.

We've had only one frost at the cabin and that was in August.

There is no snow on the mountains across the valley yet - last year first snow there was August 29th.

Mosquitos are gone. Why are you all leaving too?

This was the Labour Day long weekend along the Alaska Hwy in Yukon.

  • great pictures. Hope to see it in person someday.
  • Very nice pictures.

Probably a little early for snowbirds heading south yet, because of the 180 day rule.

It is that time to think about the trip, but another month or two before most snowbirds leave.
