Millersburg, Ohio Amish Country to Bowling Green, KY

We are entertaining the thought of seeing Ohio Amish Country for a few days. Then heading south to Bowling Green and taking in the Bowling Green area for the national park, Corvette Museum, etc.
Are there good routes to drive with the 5'er from Millersburg to Bowling Green? Should we avoid Columbus, Cincinnati, Louisville?

Thanks in advance for your help. -Dianne
  • Tow nice campgrounds east of Millersburg are Scenic Hills (Near Belin) and Berlin RV Park. Several ways to get from that area to I71. Just go south on I71 to Columbus (Take the 271 west bi-pass to 70W)and then 70 to I75. If you go straight through Cincy at not peak hours no problems.
  • three weeks back we went to nashville to see the american pickers shop, lot of very old things there the shop is small about 30x30 the great big bldg you see on tv is a antique mall. lot of shops, rt 71 to rt 65 will do a good job constrution not bad,
  • I just had supper in berlin called der dutch house. couple miles from millersburg great meal, go there every month, its on rt 62 , I think your best rt is get over to rt 30 to rt 71 south, there are a couple campgrounds in the millersburg area. one thing theres a restuarant in millersburg called homestead, stay clear worst meal and service I,ve ever had in my life.I think rt 93 will take you to rt 30 also.
