Million dollar highway Colorado
I have taken Rt 550 from montrose to silver ton. Can anyone tell me if the part from silver ton to durango is a better scenic drive. Not sure I want to take the extra drive? Thanks. Dennis

Better? In whose eyes?. From Silverton there is only 2 ways to go - back the way you came or south to Durango! IMHO - the whole route from Ouray to Durango is one of the most scenic! Will watch no for other opinions.
