Million dollar highway Colorado
I have taken Rt 550 from montrose to silver ton. Can anyone tell me if the part from silver ton to durango is a better scenic drive. Not sure I want to take the extra drive? Thanks. Dennis

I actually did like Silverton to Durango slightly more, but the whole route is spectacular. The descent into Durango is very cool. Hard to say one is "better" than the other though.
