Million dollar highway Colorado
I have taken Rt 550 from montrose to silver ton. Can anyone tell me if the part from silver ton to durango is a better scenic drive. Not sure I want to take the extra drive? Thanks. Dennis

US 550 is one of the MOST scenic routes in Colorado. Going over the three passes gives breathtaking scenery and should be a must for anyone who is comfortable with mountain driving. We have gone several hundred miles out of our way JUST to drive it again. I"d describe the part you've already drive as
