Million dollar highway Colorado
I have taken Rt 550 from montrose to silver ton. Can anyone tell me if the part from silver ton to durango is a better scenic drive. Not sure I want to take the extra drive? Thanks. Dennis

Where do you want to end up? Back in Montrose? A very nice loop is 550 down to Durango and then 160 to Cortez and north on 145 to Telluride to 62 to Ridgway and 550 back to Montrose.
