Traveling from Milwaukee WI to Orlando later this week. Looking at taking I-57 out of Chicago, then I-24 and I-75 down. I was wondering how road work was along the way. Any detours or route changes...

You have internet so check out each state's DOT site your passing through for road construction easist way. I will suggest taking Briley Parkway around Nashville.
As far as fuel affected by the pipeline leak just start looking at 1/2 tank that's what we did on our way to Alaska last year.
