Yes. Add scarce supply of vaccines to this and the picture doesn't look bright. The epidemic is shaping up to become an endemic, like a seasonal flu - always there, more in some months, less in others, more in some regions, less in others. Only with infection mortality 50-70 times higher than a flu.
I've stopped arguing with people who don't have enough knowledge of the facts to discuss the epidemic. My question is more practical - what about Southbound Canadians with RT/RP status at the Canada-US land crossing? Canadians may cross Northbound from Mexico to the US - including land crossings - because they are going home. RT/RP on land crossing from Canada to US is also going "home" - to Mexico. Parenthetically will note that they are not in breach of Mexican rules, since by Mexico govt they are "essential", i.e. residents. Any personal experience regarding Southbound Can/US, anybody?
