I read all the Covid material available plus a close relative I trust implicitly gives reports from the trenches. Covid for many people is 99.7% survivable. There is book cooking with new case counts and some adverse vaccine reactions go unreported.
You and I most likely disagree about Covid risks and precautions - but to dismiss folks with views that differ from yours is pretentious.
The US states (and Canada) that have taken the strictest precautions don't appear to have any perceptible gains over states that have reopened. New York deaths vs. Florida deaths is just one of many examples.
There are people who attack any good news about Covid - there's a lot more involved than health. These are dark times.
