Mvpmich, I think that is Mesa arch on Hyway 313 as U head toward Islands in the Sky, not Casa arch. Anyways...Must do/See list in Moab area...Mesa Arch!!! Islands in the Sky overlook. Drive the easy dirt road to see Gemini Bridges
(don't try the 'Hard route except in a Jeep). See DeadHorse point lookout, look just below this point to see Shaffer trail road. Rent a Jeep & drive down the Shaffer trail Switchbacks, on Rt 313, go along the canyon bottom, on Shaffer trail road to reach Hyway 279 towards Moab, but turn left at the Jug Handle arch sign, cross the rail track,& follow the easy dirt road under the giant, fallen rock(Pucker Point) & to the top of Long canyon. Stop at the top for one of Americas great views! We always stay at Arch View CG. Its a bit rustic, but full hookups, great views. BTW; tell em you don't need a 'Preferred' site or they try to give ya one, Too expensive. Our other favorite CG is River bend view on the north side of the bridge just out of Moab. Nice shade from the sun.
