Modesto Ca to San Diego which route to avoid LA traffic
I was thinking of taking 58 out of Bakersfield to 395 and then to 15 to SD. What do you think. I will be driving a car.

Depending on where in San Diego you're going and when, I would just head down the 405 and be done with it. If you're going to east SD, then either 58, (much longer) or take the 5 to 210 to 15
