I know it would add many hours of travel time going through the small towns in Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota & Wisconsin, but is it worth it? We will have the extra time, and if I can convince my wife that it would be worthwhile, I would like to give it a try. What do you think???
We love Highway 2, most of it is 3 or 4 lanes and the towns are handy. camp grounds, fuel stops or just boon docking in the wide spots.
but the winds at the mackinaw bridge can cause trouble.
