We did Rt. 2 from Glacier to Michigan last May. Theodore Roosevelt NP is worth the side trip. The only negative was the large trucks travelling at a very high rate of speed. I did not see any LEOs the whole trip and the big trucks just about blow you off the road when approaching in the opposite lane. Other than that it was a good trip.
