Downshift and keep speed below 45 going down. Stay in right lane.
Slow down/gear down to around 40 MPH at the Truck pull off brake checking area.
Don't ride brakes. When speed increases too much. Stab brakes hard to slow 15-20 less.
Then let transmission braking work again.
No other route around it will be any better.
