Just north of Boise you'll encounter Horseshoe Bend Hill. Northbound you have a descent from the summit of 7% for 5 miles and then 3/4 mile of 5% with 4 runaway truck ramps about a mile apart as you descent towards Horseshoe Bend. Speed is 35 mph. We've driven this route many times and find it to be just fine but wanted to give you a 'heads up'. Have a great trip. It's a beautiful drive to McCall.
