IF only we had left a cell phone there, but it was just too fast to do anything ! If this was a conventional trailer, just about any truck could move it, but not so with a 5th wheel. We're slowly getting our paperwork together, but we think that by the time we get through with paperwork here, we won't want to go through the import process, which is a limited time thing. We think flying home out of PV to land in Abbotsford, buy a truck, have it outfitted in Arizona and return here for the trailer is the best option. It's just a direct flight and 3 more days driving to get back down to AZ where we have good friends to put us up and shuffle us around. I think the 3 minute shutdown, maybe with a remote shutdown, especially in a public place would be the best option. Apparently, according to CR if you cancel the permit, you will pretty much owe the duty, so it may be best if we just exit the country and deal with it through the consulate - maybe ! RYV
