Natchez Trace

If you can, I would start the trace at the city of Natchez which is the southern access point. We stayed at River View RV Park in Vidalia Louisiana across the river from Natchez MS. There is an information center in Natchez. Very slow pace, beautiful drive. At the far end of the trace, stay at Davis Lake Campground, New Houlka, MS milepost 243,then left 4 miles. Info on www.recreation.gov I would make reservations. $20 per night or half price if you have the pass. We drove from the southern access point to the northern end in one day. Loved it.
