National Parks - free entry, 2017

Quoting the Calgary Herald this AM - "The federal government is making entry into the national parks and historic sites free in 2017 as a way to mark the 150th anniversary of Canada's Confederation"

Further - "Passes purchased this year (2016) will be valid for 24 months rather than 12."

That is such false advertising! The pass is good for 12 months - period. Everybody gets in free for 2017, so there's no 24-months-for-the-price-of-12 deal.

I think you should take that back it states "Visitors buying annual passes in 2016 delighted to find they'll effectively last for two years" see CBC News
