Navigating Boise ID

We'll be headed West to Boise Riverside RV Park by Memorial Stadium on a weekday probably early afternoon. A couple of different GPS routers have me taking I184 to Curtis to US20/Chinden to 44/Glenwood.

Looks straightforward enough but I'm not a big fan of interstates let alone in cities and even less exiting and merging there. I usually look at surface alternatives and now I'm looking at Exit Cole, jog left on Mountain View to a right on Glenwood and there I go.

Local or otherwise knowledgeable thoughts? Motorhome towing. Thanks..

  • Yep, took the interstate and no real issues. Not much traffic when we went through. Noticed when we got here in park info that way and 2 surface (for East and West approach on I84 I guess)
    streets are their recommended options.

    Thanks
  • I didn't find the interstates in Boise to be too interstatey at all really, unless it's right at 5:00 but even then it was pretty easy to get through it. Nothing like most metro area interstates are everywhere else.
  • i agree with the gps. the other way is fine in a car but is more residential streets.
