NC to Carlisle PA
We are heading to Maine in mid June from FL. Our route takes us up I95. First night in Brunswick Ga and second night at Raleigh Oaks in Four Oaks NC,
We will be heading up I95 and cutting over to I81 to avoid toll roads and major cities.
Previously, we have cut over from Richmond on I64. This time we were routed on 17, Exit 33 in Fredricksburg VA to I66 to I81 and up to Carlisle PA for our 3rd stop.
What type of hwy is 17 out of Fredericksburg? Busy? Is there nay other route that might be better? Do not want to get near DC.
