Need advice on trip to Moab
From Albuquerque, GSam trip routing takes us on 550 to Bloomfield then 64 to Shiprock, 491 to Monticello and 191 to Moab. Looking at the map it seems we can continue on 64 to 160 and west to Mexica...

Our route, which we use every year is I-40 to 491 to Monticello, then 191 to Moab. We tried the I-25 to 550/64/491/191 one time and the road was not that good, plus there was to much local traffic for us. We usually overnight in Shiprock at the mall behind the local fast food stops. There is a good Chinese restaurant just across the street from the mall.
