Technically most of 264 cross the Navajo Reservation. The Hopi reservation is in the middle, roughly around the junction with 87 (from the south). The historic Hopi communities are on mesas near this junction. Access to the mesas is steep, narrow and restricted. But there is a Hopi Cultural center and restaurant.
Window Rock at the east end of 264 is the Navajo tribal headquarters.
It would be a good idea to check the tribal websites for sightseeing ideas and guidelines.
