Wrapping up a week long stay at KOA Newburgh, NY. It's been great. Did the NYC tour and had the front office watch FIDO. Couldn't have worked out better. Lots of shade, places to walk, secure, regularly patrolled by Newburgh police, perfect.
Thanks for the info. We are going to stay there for 3 nights and have booked the NYC tour too. We also found someone there who will let the dog out a few times. Didn't realize the front office people would do that.
To update the rest of the trip we have cut out a few places to shorten the route. We wanted to be able to spend a few more days in each place. We booked Letchworth SP, RH Treman SP, Newburgh KOA, Cherry hill outside Washington, Drummerboy Camp resort in Gettysburgh and Alleghany SP on the way home.
