Getting out of FL: We usually take Suncoast Parkway (toll) to US98 west to US19 north to I-10. Take I-12 around New Orleans. In Lafayette Louisiana, we head north on US49 to I-20 at Shreveport. To bypass Dallas, at Tyler TX take US69 north to Greenville TX, then west on US380. Take US380 west to Decatur TX, then north on US81-287 through Wichita Falls to Amarillo. At Amarillo, pickup I-40 west to Albuquerque. If you need campground recommendations, let me know. We go to Decatur TX every year and up into Oklahoma. We have a Class A towing a small pickup.
