You can pick up US 25E either off of I 40 at Newport TN or run on up I 40 to I 81 to get on south of Morristown. 25E will take you thru the tunnel at Cumberland Gap in Middlesboro and then on to I75 at Corbin KY. I use this route to go to Piegon Forge to avoid Jellico Mt and Knoxville in my class c. Good rode with some 4 lanes. Only one mountain, Clinch I believe, but the grade and length is nothing like Jellico.
