Need suggestions on trip to the PNW

Several of you have asked about the timeline. The PNW part of this trip will begin on May 10th in San Francisco. The earlier stops are just my getting to San Francisco. Later stops after Denver are simply minor stops on my way home.
Most of these stops will be in the area of the highlighted stop with day trips to the attractions. Unfortunately, Roadtrippers doesn't have a way to show the overnight stays and day trips separately.
I need to get back to SoFla by October 29th. So I have about 4.5 months to explore from San Fran to SoFla.
