For a while, as a kid, we lived in Cedar Rapids, and visited grandparents in Mpls. On the way we stopped at the Little Brown Church in the Vale. I made that stop once as a adult. Now you can get half way close to that by driving divided highways (the Saint (Louis) to Saint (Paul) corridor).
