This past camping trip we took back roads to our destination. Probably added an hour to the trip and I know we used more gas, but we got to enjoy the most beautiful fall foliage, blue barns - never knew there were so many blue barns in Washington before, and cute little towns that were not boarded up because WalMart had come and closed them down. Yep, its back roads for us.
