Agree about doing Cabot Trail before Newfoundland.
Why? Well, it's one of those parks done when the Federal Government was taking out what had been done by folks who settled there.
Then go to Gros Morne National Park in Newfoundland see how much better it is when history, settlement, culture, and..... get included with natural terrain.
& look out for over capacity in the gov. campgrounds Cape Breton is one place where the private cgs tend to be better.
Agree about Lousibourg, Meat Cove, Lake Bras Dor, Rita's Tea Rooms.
Remember highest tides on the planet are between Nova Scotia and New Brunswick and between Maine and New Brunswick. Think Grand Manan Island.
