Yes st Andrews, I forgot. We took whale watching tour from there. Really pretty town.
Half our street are folk from Newfoundland. You need 2 weeks min to see things there.
When we came back from Cape Breton we took a small ferry. The wait time was about 40 minutes for a 10 minute ferry but it added to the trip.
cape Breton...the firefighters do a wonderful breakfast on the weekends. They alternate between towns and villages, but you will find one for sure. I think it was around 6 dollars. Beautifully done and a chance to chat with local people. They like to visit and chat down east.
Also...we stopped at Halls Harbour in Nova Scotia. We picked out our lobster, they cooked it and we ate it outside on picnic tables. We stayed to watch the tide. We have pics of the fishing boats sitting on mud and then about 20' higher.
