We have gone to the east coast three times in the last five years. We have friends in Nova Scotia so its a great excuse to go see them. I absolutely love the Bay of Fundy. Hopewell rocks are a must see but have become a very tourist oriented trap. Loved Louisburg, Lunenburg and museum, Peggys cove, Halifax waterfront and museum, Tidal bore at various locations, Truro. Wolfville ect. If you make it down to the south end of Nova Scotia, Digby has great seafood and the digby arm is very scenic. PEI was nice, take the ferry over for free and pay to come back on the must see 13 km long confederation bridge. Its free either way to get on the island but costs about twice as much to return on the ferry as the bridge. I found two days of PEI was enough for me. Lots of beaches, but not much more unless you like potatoes a lot. We bought the National park pass which was a bargain if you plan on visiting many national parks or historic sites. It gets you into Louisburg, The citadel, Annapolis Royale fortress ,Lunenburg museum, the tidal bore generating station at Annapolis Royale, just to name a few. Look into it, we used it enough to pay for it, and its good for a year at any national park or monument in Canada. The Cabot trail is awesome. I would recommend staying at the Arms of Gold campground near Sydney as a base for that area. Great folks and nice campground. Meat cove is neat but I wouldn't take a motorhome in there. Better to drive by car. We have tried each trip to see the gaspe, but each time the weather there made it not worth the extra driving. Very hit and miss on the weather there I guess. I could go on and on, I love it that much. Good luck and enjoy the highest tides in the world.
