New Caney going S thru or around Houston - route??

We'll be staying in New Caney, then heading for Rockport. I will be driving MH pulling a toad, and have a problem with heights. I really prefer not to be driving a house that's pulling a Jeep on a f...

One more suggestion:
Use a real-time traffic service so you know what the conditions are. I've used Houston Transtar for years. They have an app for your phone.

More recently I've switched to Google Maps for traffic conditions.

I don't go thru or around Houston without checking the traffic first.
