Okay, time to ask about the next route home. Is Oregon 20 from Bend Or South to Rt 78/95 going to be the best road home to AZ. For a TT. TIA

I think McDermitt generally has fuel but yeah as a general rule you need to watch the fuel situation pretty close in the more remote parts of Oregon, Nevada, Idaho, etc. I like to throw a can or two of extra diesel in just in case as well.- Thanks for both posts.
- If your in Bend now, 31 SE from LaPine is a nice drive, you then pick up 395 south toward Reno. Choice there is I80 east to 95 south or continue on 395 down the back side of the mountains. If you want to take 20 that is east to Ontario,OR where you will pick up I84 a short way connecting to 95 south. 20 is a fine route so is 31. Although 31 does have some rough patches. 31 only has one good pass to go over, otherwose its prett flat alp the way to Alturus.
