We came down the PCH a few years back and camped at Big Sir. Then continued down and visited the Hearst Castle. Didn't even think that the road was too difficult. We did encounter some thick fog which made the drive a bit more challenging though. Plenty of turnouts to allow the speedsters to zip by. :)
