I am amazed something so stupidly simple remains virtually unknown. Once the itch is gone it is g-o-n-e. I must have spent 200 dollars on remedies that of course required a 50 mile drive. I have met people who had spent close to a hundred dollars for antihistamine shots. Without exception the doctors who hear this just sit there and blink. The remedy does not have 11 syllables in it's name. Water / heat / q tip
