I know what you are saying but the OP's original post had nothing to do with travelling in Mexico to begin with as indicated by them and all about fear, whether travelling in Mexico or anywhere else, it was more about building a shelter to survive some mythical cataclysmic event. I have no issue with those who travel in Mexico. Been there myself, lovely place, probably won't go back. I think those who want to spend their life building a shelter are pursuing their dream as well. Heck we all have fears, grounded in reality or not. There are plenty of places in this country I fear and will not travel to.
