NOAA in Canada?

I know NOAA is based in the US, not Canada; but, does Canada (or local Providences) have anything similar?

I'm in the V-E-R-Y early planning stages, and was wondering about weather forecasts. Getting good forecasts seems to be spotty sometimes.

    Providences???
  • Those links are fine and I thank you for them. But what if I'm in a place without an Internet connection? I'm looking for something I can get off a radio. (I don't know if I'll be bring my own Internet connection with me or not, at this point.)
  • Environment Canada, me son, me lass.

Start with this interactive map: http://weather.gc.ca/canada_e.html

There are commercial sites too, but Environment Canada is the government site as you can tell from "gc.ca".

Check for satellite site and Canadian Hurricane center too.

    :)
