We have done the 395 many times when we go from Tucson area to the OR Coast - in fact, we will be coming back down it again later in the summer / fall. Love that road. We have standard places we stay - Likely, Lee Vining, Lone Pine, etc. DO NOT plan to buy fuel anywhere near Lee Vining....they must fill it with gold for the price they get.
