Northern California Coastal Route

We are planning to camp in the redwoods around Eureka and Crescent City. We pull a 26' trailer. How are the roads there? We are coming from the south and will be going into Oregon next. What routes are best for us?

    101 is a major truck route. If you want a more scenic and slower route take 1 north of SF. If you go through SF mid day is the best time.

    You won't have any problems traveling North on 101. There have been lots of storms this year along the coast and there have been slides on highway 101.

    check with Trip Check which will give you road conditions in Oregon.
