NY 84 hotel with large parking lot

Traveling to FL on NY 84,looking for a hotel for a couple nights with a large parking lot within a an hour or so from NYC.Gonna visit a friend there. F250 towing 30' travel trailer

    I use google earth to check out hotels en route south - also I call the hotel and ask them if there is room to park a semi truck with a trailer - the average desk clerk would not know how much room it would take to park a 37ft motor home towing a car

    This has worked for me over the past 10 years going south

    Exactly what we do! Ask if they have parking for Semi-Trucks. If so, you're good to go!

    That's quite a little jaunt from I-84, though.

    For that matter, it's going to be hard to find anything along I-84 that's only an hour from NYC, at least the core of the city. Brewster area (around where I-684 intersects I-84) seems to me to be about the closest, and MTA trains from Brewster to Grand Central have around an hour and a half travel time.
