I live in Dayton, Oh and made this trip last summer. We took 80 to 287 to 95 to 195 to 25 to 6..... We stayed at Nickerson State Park. Fairly central location to most everything on the Cape. Driving down 95 wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. We even overnighted at one of the travel plazas in Conneticut without incident. We were pulling a 26ft TT.
