Okay all my Alaska family...Here it is...As requested I am starting a new thread for all you "Roll Call Alaska 2013" travelers to blog all your adventures.This may help others traveling behind us or those going next year. Any news on roads, gas, what to see or miss. Anything.... just blog and tell of your adventures on one of our most memorable trips.We start out tomorrow (only as far as Vegas..:C) but will be slowly heading up and away on our trip.So start Bloging and lets keep in touch.Travel safe and smart!!!!Janet

It would pleasure me greatly, if some of you or all of you headed north soon, would check the list of gas stations listed on the sticky at the top and let me know of any changes I need to make to it. Thanks and have a good journey as it will be another month or so before we head out of Florida.

You all leave some of that little space called Alaska for us!Our scheduled departure moves out to mid June. Told my DW I had planned it this way to miss the late winter:)! Nope, she did not believe me...Travel safe, post often, and feel free to leave your card at the pump for Smitty - I'll get it back to you...Best to all,Smitty

We are packed and ready to roll . Plan to leave Wi. May 19 . Travel west to Mt. then north on I15

We are currently on our way. We are currently in Clinton,BC. Headed to prince Rupert and the ferry. Weather has been fabulous. The problem is all the Provincial parks have been closed for the winter. Currently it is 80+.

We left NC last Saturday but had to "detour" through Dothan AL. Left there on Tuesday a.m. traveling west on I-10. We left I-10 at Lafayette LA, took I-49 and US 71/59 to Van Buren AR to intersect with I-40. We are now at Foss Lake SP west of Oklahoma City. Weather has been good (rained last night). All is well. lizzie
