Are you sure you don't mean Lake Erie?
Port Huron is at the very bottom tip of Lake Huron, the lake west of Niagara towards Port Huron is Lake Erie.
Killarney Provincial Park is 7 or 8 hours north of Port Huron, MI / Sarnia, ON.
He could mean Pinery, which is only an hour from Port Huron.
